OUR mission statement

We, the members of the Nigeria Catholic Priests Discourse Forum take up the mission of witnessing to Christ, through social network. We shall do so by:

1. Knowing, believing, nurturing and revitalising our faith in Christ to its full stature. 
2. Promoting organised and private charitable deeds.
3. Imparting value based education.
4. Communicating the message of truth and hope on current social issues.
5. Prayerfully discerning on how to work in unity with other Christian denominations;
6. Living and having a dialogue with the followers of other faiths.
7. Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ to everyone who is thirsting for it.
8. Working towards helping one another in our priestly calling.
9. Accompanying those who are in search of meaning and struggling to find God in their lives through social networks.

About the NIGERIA Catholic Priests Discourse FORUM

The Nigeria Catholic Priests Discourse Forum is a 'WhatsApp group' chat which was created on 23 July 2015 by Rev. Fr. Christopher Nnubia of Abuja Archdiocese, Nigeria. It is not a compulsory society or an association of Catholic Priests but a confraternity of Catholic Priests who are willing to share their knowledge. As the name implies, the platform raises and discusses different issues on Ecclesiastical life (the Church Governance: theologico-canonical aspects, Liturgy, Sacraments: theological/canonical aspects, Bible and Catechesis), Political Affairs/Social Justice, Church Documents, Priestly Life, Morality and Spirituality as well as Pastoral Communication. The NCPDF also organizes a monthly seminar on different topics.
